Where a job involves running a brand new circuit, which most standalone garden or security lighting installations do, that’s notifiable work under Part P of the Building Regulations, and we handle the certification and registration that comes with it. Extending an existing outdoor circuit, rather than adding a new one, may not always be notifiable, and we’ll tell you honestly which situation your job falls into.
